A show stopping grass. In December 2m tall inflorescenes are produced which are held on the plant to winter. The lightly fluffy heads are graceful and especially beautful when the light shines through them. It is an evergreen tussocking grass with greyish green leave blades that reach 70cm. This grass originates from Spain/Morrocco and is well adapted to Drought conditions and Heavy frosts.Needs good drainage and a position with plenty of sun and space to show off the large panicles. Frequently used in gravel gardens.
